Lucky Mark Danyluk, aka “The President of Fun and Entertainment,” 65, of Kona died May 19. Born in Burbank, Calif., he was a promoter for John Paul Mitchell Systems and an avid surfer and cook. Private celebration of life at a later date. Survived by brothers, Ron Danyluk of Grants Pass, Ore., and Glen Danyluk of Glendale, Calif.; five nieces and nephews. Arthur “Ata” Gonsalves, 84, of Hawi died Feb. 20 at home. Born in Halaula, Kohala, he was a retired state employee, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and former member of Koa Puna Kohala Chapter. Visitation from 8-9:45 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi. Mass at 10 a.m. Private committal service at a later date. Aloha or casual attire. No flowers. Survived by wife, Winnie Gonsalves of Hawi; sister, Irene G. (Jack) Wilhelm of Lihue, Kauai; daughters, I. Dede Caravalho of Hilo and Ekela (Keala) Kahuanui of Waimea; sons, Crawford Gonsalves of Kurtistown and A. Ikaika Gonsalves of Kona; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
